2/2 Ukraine says it has managed to secure the return of 3,956 people from Russian captivity since the start of Moscow’s full-scale war. Kremlin has not provided the reciprocal total number of Russian POWs returned since 2022.

At least 3 killed, dozens injured, and six EU embassies damaged alongside critical infrastructure.

Growing up in a post-Soviet state, I recall Syria's govt being praised as a Kremlin ally for their 'common values.'

Moscow officially deployed troops to Syria in 2017.

The human-made famine, organised by Moscow’s USSR under Stalin, claimed millions of lives in Ukraine in 1932-33 and in the lesser-known famines of 1921-23 and 1946-47.
