Oneplus also makes nice phones, but I just don't see it's appeal, they used to be innovative and create the best bang for the buck but now all their phones are boring

Oh and I guess other Chinese phones exist too, but you'll need to import them from another country, not worth it.

If you're thinking of being a little different, try Nothing, their UI is CLEAN with no bloatware, they have the best designed smartphones on the market (IMO), and are on the cheaper end too.

Samsung is the ol reliable, you can never go wrong with a Samsung s series, but stay far away from the a series phones
Google pixels come with 8 years of os updates and have a bloat free, clean android experience. Great cameras though their photos are highly processed, and have lackluster chips
