Feel so bad for Zelensky today. He's stuck between an insane lunatic on one side of him, and Vladimir Putin on the other.

There have been a few bands named, Funhouse, but thanks to 1997 college radio, I discovered an American duo called Funhouse, and I loved their song, Vampiress, that would play on this college station. No internet in those days but I managed to track down and send away for the CD. Give it a listen.

That's the trouble with having a stone silent Supreme Court, who could add so much to contentious issues by speaking out on a regular basis.
December 27, 2025 at 3:59 PM
Just don't expect the mainstream media to help.
December 26, 2025 at 8:30 PM
If only we had a co-equal 3rd branch of the federal government who could publicly comment on this. Oh well.
December 23, 2025 at 4:39 PM
And of course, Trump's cultists won't care anyway, even if it's true.
December 23, 2025 at 4:22 PM
I think we kind of forgot, but when campaigning in 2024, Trump publicly solicited the fossil fuel companies to give Trump a billion dollars and Trump would keep promoting gas, oil and coal over any green energy solutions (windmills, etc.) Gee, I wonder if that ever happened.
December 22, 2025 at 2:14 PM
You too.
December 22, 2025 at 12:32 AM
Maybe, but does Newsom want it? He makes fun of Trump on X, but so far he's not making the effort to lead a party that's devoid of any leadership. No one wants the job.
December 21, 2025 at 8:16 PM
Don't forget, he sells these pardons. How much have all these people he's pardoned been paying him?
December 21, 2025 at 7:38 PM
Even so, at least they have a plan, Democrats still have no leader to rally around almost 14 months after the election loss. Does anyone really want the job? Doesn't seem like it.
December 21, 2025 at 5:27 PM
This is the problem with the Dems STILL not having a leader. There's no one to focus the party on issues for the mid terms. Trump is a horrible, repulsive person, but he's not leaving. A Dem leader should be talking about issues that excite Dem voters enough to actually come out and vote.
December 21, 2025 at 3:23 PM
Notice how the Democrats have lately slid back to their public default mode of being silent and inactive in the face of all Trump's recent atrocities. All politics is is talking, a press conference, in front of a camera or on social media. At 79, Trump has energy for all of that. Dems? not so much.
December 20, 2025 at 2:47 PM
Adrienne Barbeau?
December 19, 2025 at 11:46 PM
So who's stopping him from holding a press conference and getting in front of a microphone and speaking?
December 19, 2025 at 7:52 PM
Sadly, all the things we thought were supposed to happen, aren't going to happen.
December 19, 2025 at 5:27 PM
And who is there to enforce the laws? No one. That's what the DOJ is supposed to be for. Hey, maybe Merrick Garland can look into it someday.
December 19, 2025 at 5:25 PM
Dems still don't have an actual omnipresent leader/spokesman yet. That would help.
December 18, 2025 at 4:30 PM
Nah, I think it's more he's afraid of the mid terms and knows his agenda will be over and he'll be impeached.
December 18, 2025 at 2:04 PM
whoever owns the tacky gold stuff store in D.C. is making a lot of money these days.
December 17, 2025 at 9:35 PM
Less pressure going back to being a lame, lying, bullshitting podcaster.
December 17, 2025 at 6:12 PM
Weirdest group of freaks ever.
December 16, 2025 at 9:47 PM
Trump could have just remained silent and said nothing, instead, this post was designed to hurt as many people as possible as is his usual want.
December 15, 2025 at 3:50 PM
Smaller product size and content at a higher price, that's here to stay now too.
