The snow is starting in Montreal and Toronto. Perfect time to hunker down and learn how to do cable stitches in #crochet. Had to frog at least 5 times before I had my a-ha moment and it all made sense. Eventually this will be a messenger bag. 🧶

Starting a new #crochet blanket for the couch for the colder weather. The pink is faux fur and the dark teal is Bernat super soft blanket yarn. I love the swirl pattern but the counting is a pain - had to frog the rows several times. I know it will get easier and so worth it. 🧶

Finally finished my shawl for the winter. With pockets! And first time crocheting a hood. I know where all the errors are, and that makes it all mine. Bring on winter! 🧶 #crochet

Yarn shopping is so soothing. Excited to get started on a blanket using these two - a super bulky soft dark teal from Bernat and oh so soft super bulky rose faux fur from Loops & Threads.

I finished it! Really happy with this leaf shoulder bag I crocheted. The 3D leaf effect was hard to learn but now it's a snap. Bought the shoulder strap from Amazon. I could definitely see making these in all sorts of colours.

Went to a craft/food show at #WychwoodBarns today. So much goregous art and yummy food. Bought some #crochet flowers. I love that yarn crafts are so popular again and it's mostly millenials and zillenials I see at the fairs. I want to try making florals too. 🧶

Just got back from a week in Vegas at the #Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekender. One of the highlights for me is the legends panel, listening to their life stories. Such amazing, pioneering women. If you're interested in their history, I recommended picking up the book The League of Exotic Dancers.
