Never played Hollow Knight, not interested in it or Silksong, but with everyone talking about it I feel like I need something to scratch the fomo itch.

These are I think all the ones in my Steam (Family) library? Made me consider where the lines with "zelda-likes" and "open world 3d platformers"

Was digging in my archives and came across this OC interaction meme I did way back in the tumblr days, wanted to repost it since I rarely do scene stuff anymore.
8 Ocs, in order: 1 Zach 2 Ami 3 Karen 4 Wanda 5 Ryan 6 Pearl 7 LCom 8 Angie (Julia) scene 1 - wanda and pearl stuck in an elevator. wanda asks "canyoure just like, talk to it? tell it to get its act together?" "I am, and he says he isn't feeling well. Give him a break, he works hard..." scene 2 - pearl fights lcom, pearl is charging some kind of arm gun blast, lcom holds a phone where we can see the screen shows a "remote shut down" button scene 3 - ryan trying to strike a deal with lcom "Please?" "no" "I'll be your friend!" "you already are" "oh. I'll... carry all your stuff for you1" "...Maybe." scene 4 - wanda and pearl approach augie in wedding dresses. Augie looks up from her comic book and says "eh? what?" scene 5 - augie and zach walking together. angie says "is that really all that it says?" LCom said they won't get away..." scene 9 - LCom sits with hands on his knees. ami sits next to him with her arms around him. neither of their faces are visible. Lcom says "don't get too worked up for my sake. I don't really feel bad about it. If you've never felt happy then you can't feel bad either." scene 10 - augie is pulling at karen's shirt as she tries to dodge augies advances. Augie says "No! you can't just tell me you have a tattoo and then not show me! I'll find it myself if I have to! I'll even join you! C'mon!!" scene 11 - karen talks to the viewer behind her hand while LCom stands with hands on his hips in the background. She says "I mean, I'm pretty sure I could snap the kid in half, but honestly, I'd be way too scared to even try..." scene 12 (the prompt has been modified because "We haven't seen enough of her") - pearl holds a bouquet of flowers with a look of mild confusion as ami stands behind her and puts just as many flowers into her hair

$80 games is not what's ruining the industry.

Adjusted for inflation, $80 is very reasonable, considering that development effort and overall quality of product has also increased.

Also there's a million awesome $15-$20 indie games. If all you perceive is AAA releases, you're part of the problem.
