I get your feel about Ike’s 3s. That said,Creighton came in planning to crowd down low and let Ike try to beat them from the outside if he dared. Graham dared…and succeeded. This allowed Graham to draw out the defense and spread them more than desired. Frankly, Ike’s 3s created the path to the win.

There were a couple of things from last year that make this legit no matter the personnel. This is their opportunity to show it was a one off and not a systemic/cultural change or issue. Or in my aircrew words, “Shit happens”. I don’t expect it will as much this year. Hope you are doing well!

I don’t generally reply out of the blue, but your post struck me as someone a bit bummed. My 40s began a bit of a spiral into depression. A bit lonely, a little ick. I desperately needed a change. For me it was running. Got friends, got healthy, got a better life! Find your change! Best wishes!

The good thing about this is the issue appears to be nearly all mental. That can turn around on a dime. The bad thing about this is the issue appears to be nearly all mental. There is no amount of practice that can turn this. It simply has to happen. Or not. Go Zags!

I agree with the “Tripping all over themselves” analogy. I look at them as over thinking. Things like going from the extra pass to one pass too many for example. The upside is I don’t see a systemic talent issue, just a switch that needs to be flipped. That can happen in a split second.

I fully believe that this season is a revenge tour. This means more to fans than most players (I get that) but Nolan Hickman, the ultimate Zag fan/player will make sure everyone remembers who needs payback.
