Clay Allison (1841–1887) was a notorious figure of the Old West, known for his violent and unpredictable behavior. Born in North Carolina, he moved to Texas, where he became infamous as a gunslinger.

Lone Wolf was a Kiowa chief during the Red River War (1874–1875). As a leader of the Kiowa people, Lone Wolf played a significant role in the resistance against U.S. encroachment on their lands and the disruption of their way of life.
