Finishing a project quickly in this house is unheard of…until this past weekend! Between Thursday and Friday evening, a long day on Saturday, and the first half of Sunday, Wendy and I were able to knock out this pergola build and brought our yard project to about 97% complete.

Back in 2003 we bought our 1886 row house and didn’t have a clue what we were doing, but we were gonna DIY dammit. Our first project, our living room. Now 22 years later we’re embarking on living room Reno 2.0. Here’s a current photo and a trip down memory lane.
