Folks don't seem to get there is a surplus of unneeded peasants in the world. We have reached the kick up or perish part of the program and folks seem to be more interested in watching their children and grandkids futures disappear.

I don't know the age of your students but I applaud your willingness to teach actual facts. I expect to be joining my college aged grandson in protests because these young folks have been royally screwed over.
