I was fired last Friday for sharing my personal political opinion on my social media account, in no way officiated with my employer. I was doxxed, the CK nuts found out where I worked and led a massive campaign against me. BPA fired me due to political pressure. Be careful out there.

Yep. The federal government fired me on Friday for exactly this.

Now I'm focusing on a couple pathways I have out of the country for good. I have absolutely no interest or inclination in maintaining loyalty to a country whose response to exercising political free speech is this. 🧵 7/7

But it's over, it's done. My federal ID and laptop have been returned. I loved being here so much my plan was to hang in until the federal hiring freeze was over. I had two different leaders help position me for options when those doors reopened. 🧵 6/7

They're amazing people and I want to cry when I think about not being able to work with a team that's gone above and beyond for me repeatedly. But it's clear that BPA as an institution has no similar interest. Their response to me receiving multiple death threats was to hang me out to dry. 🧵 5/7

I've had multiple current BPA employees reach out telling me they're hearing rumors about it at work. They're offering to write letters of recommendation, sending job leads, helping me with info on how to leave the country without prompting. 🧵 4/7

Rather than a note reminding me to adjust this as would be the typical next step, this was used as an excuse to terminate me. 🧵 3/7

My office information was dug up and hundreds of people called BPA with death threats demanding I was let go. BPA responded by finding a loophole to dismiss me under: my LinkedIn profile didn't note I was a contractor. 🧵 2/7

He's now confirmed as dead. He'll get the same level of sympathy from me that he and his team had for the kids at Parkland and Sandy Hook.
