Does anyone else wonder how Donatello, in the 14th Century managed to capture so exactly the reaction countless Americans are having to the trauma & horror Donald Trump & his puppet masters have unleashed? We'll take them down & ensure democracy's foundations prevail.

Mine, (profile pic), is this ancient Roman door knocker. It's her eyes; they certainly don't give the impression of wanting to turn anyone into stone (although I'd love to animate her and point her towards people in a certain cabinet - just to test it out. Glad Mussolini was good for something.

This is how I feel about a country choosing to put a despot megalomaniac imposter in a position of such unlimited power. Not that it should be unlimited, Congress, we're all looking at you! But even more, it's how I want them to feel instead, so they finally get a sense of how putrid they are.

I just joined; I'm grateful for the open, frank, & empathic environment. Like half the country, I'm trying to internalize the horror of what the election results mean & how best to fight back. For now, looking at the ancient beauty of a Roman sculpture helps me a bit; I hope it helps you too.
