Dan. I have seen a spate of heds/ledes saying Harris is “defending” Biden’s successful economic policies. You only need to defend if someone is attacking you. This also happened on the Arlington , with framing the Army rebuke of Trump’s action as “defending” the employee who tried to stop them.
