Good for Sen Ed Markey, who is pushing both Biden and Trump to extend the TikTok shutdown deadline. Security concerns should be addressed but a major platform for free speech should not be shut down. There is this thing called the First Amendment. Strange the entire Supreme Court misses this point.

We’ve come a ways. When this kind of geoengineering was first proposed 15-20 years ago, environmentalists were dead set against even researching it. Some form of solar radiation deflection in the atmosphere now seems to me a necessary step, tho not a permanent solution.
