But ascribe to a tribalism deeply rooted in xenophobia and ignorance

I think about “sanctity of border” messages quite often… and the ways we spiritualize our bigotries

I love, honor, and respect my culture and history as a Black American. I will not use it to privilege myself against the same folks we NEED to unite with our entire global Black family (and all oppressed people) to fight against our actual oppressors. This is all a distraction #Blacksky

Birthright citizenship is explicitly enshrined in the 14th Amendment because THE FORMER SLAVE STATES DIDN’T RECOGNIZE OUR BLACK ASSES AS CITIZENS. If he unconstitutionally tried to take it away, there is no impediment to them using it on us. Our liberation is connected as a whole. #Blacksky
