He paved over the Rose Garden. He has filled the Oval Office with shitty filigree spray-painted gold. Someone once said that Trump is a poor person's idea of a rich person. That's an insult to poor people. I know lots of poor people with better taste than him.

Having experienced medical-bill-induced bankruptcy before, I sympathize with you. I can't see a solution in this country. The opposition is just too powerful. Even if the Democrats were to win full control soon, the right-wing reaction could land us something even worse than Trump.

The enemy of my enemy is my (temporary) friend. Every German killed or wounded on the Eastern Front was one who could not kill Americans in the West. But we ended up rescuing another hideous dictatorship.
