My wife is a long time fan and I finally started listening this week. Outstanding work.

We've been honored that a mama Fox has chosen our North Bay backyard as her den for several years now.

Here's a few pics from yesterday morning. She's standing watch while her 3 pups play in the tall grass.

Her facial structure is very feline but her body is very canine, and her tail is characteristically fluffy. She is mostly gray with red highlights and is the size of a very large house cat. Mama Fox update: Captured some video of Mama Fox and her eldest of two pups this morning.

Fun fact: Female Gray Foxes have one uterus for each ovary. So what we thought was "the runt of the litter" may simply be a pup from her second uterus.
