I’ve had similar bouts, but with music instead. They almost always came before breakthroughs. It’s hard in the moment, but often I found it’s because you’re mentally starting to see where you’re trying to go, and making you feel more critical, but your body hasn’t caught up yet.

Both set my path as a gamer and got me to learn to read 😅

Absolutely the NES. One of my best gaming memories was brute forcing my way through Duck Tales before I learned how to read, getting to the race with Glomgold, and being absolutely puzzled why I suddenly died. Had to get my dad to read it and explain what was happening.

This made me laugh so hard, and was exactly what I needed today <3

I think I spent the whole game chasing the high of WE'VE MADE A CHOICE GO FIGHT AGAINST YOUR FATE, and just finally accepted that's just not what most of the game is.

How has Amphoreus been? I dropped off after the first story patch of it. Been thinking of picking HSR back up again, but I've been struggling to connect with the story again.
