The Eurail Pass is great, I stayed in France for a few months as a home base and took long weekends all over Europe.

Yes. In the past ~5 years, I've lived in 17 countries for a month or more, averaging 3 months each. I stayed a year in Bali (Ubud area). It depends on my connection with a place, cost of living, and visa policies. I'm tempted to settle down sometimes, but I like seeing new places more.

I left the US during of the '20 election cycle. I was in fear of the burgeoning fascist movement then and Trump's potential to be reelected. For a time I thought I was wrong, but I was enjoying the experience so remained abroad. I now find no joy in having been right, this affects the are worldwide.

Loved it. It was cut short due to a situation back in the states but I'll return someday. I especially like the fact that they allow US passport holders up to a 1-yearstay visa free.
