Since you mentioned Tamiya….
It probably isn’t fair because the molds date back to the late 60’s, but this was bad beyond that. The plastic itself was thin and splintered with sanding. Then again, it was cheap for a reason.

Recently completed this Tamiya F-35B, build took almost three months but the kit was so well designed, it was worth the effort to get the most out of it.
