I think that’s correct but it also applies pretty broadly across political belief. It might be the core element of the moment, strong negative polarization and an unwillingness to rigorously develop core beliefs

both of these notions are flat out wrong. if we actually taught humanities classes with the same rigor we do with STEM, a lot of people would actually fail. if you've ever had a kind of "literary version of insane ballet instructor" teacher, you understand this

She doesn't do any redistribution, just governance. I may be being an uncharitable Lib, but I think they care intensely about the former but not much about the latter.

I love 30 Rock but the way the Flanderized Liz into being an incompetent and controlling dork in the last couple seasons was the biggest problem. I like that Parks and Rec admitted Amy Poehler’s character was admirable AND annoying
