It strikes me today that because of what is happening in Minnesota and other states, we may no longer be the "land of the free," but we are still the "home of the brave." Less brutality is demonstrated in an NFL football game than by ICE in Minneapolis, which is difficult to achieve these days.

I'm listening to the Trump lecture at Davos. He brings a new dimension to the term "The Ugly American" and this display of lies and bullying is truly an embarrassment. I have to turn it off; it's too humiliating...

The Trump administration is demonstrating a targeted effort on harming/killing children by withdrawing pediatric cancer and other research funding and drawing parents away from immunizing their children. What a terrible level of cruelty. Today, funding for the American Academy of Pediatrics is gone.

USA is a predominantly rural country. I flew from RDU to STL and saw how truly rural our country is, with larger cities rare. Healthcare in small hospitals will be challenged if not eliminated by Medicaid cuts. Congress should have taken the same flight if they wanted to make an informed decision.

Why do news journalists on MSNBC continue to say that Mr. Trump swore to uphold the U. S. Constitution with his hand on the Bible? He did NOT place his hand in the Bible which Melania dutifully held. He refused to do so. Watch the swearing in again. He now says he's not sure he has to uphold it.
