The things I love most in life are my family, music, basketball and mountain hikes. I love Senior Olympic basketball and I loathe Donald Trump.
Please no DMs unless we know each other previously. I’m not interested in “how’s your day” pleasantries.

I still remember the day I bought The Soft Parade, late 60s. Maybe the best record buying day ever, at Zayres. I bought The Doors, Soft Parade and The Moody Blues, Days of Future Passed for maybe $3.50 an album. Those bands and albums have been so influential in my musical tastes.

We were ready for Halloween! The noon news today mentioned a house the next street over with a great haunted house. We gave out nearly 500 pieces of candy and turned out the lights at 8:30. I had to buy more emergency candy. We had a traffic jam on our little street.

Last nights vinyl!
What a great album!
I missed it completely when it came out. Anita brought it with her on CD when we got together. This album was in a vinyl collection that was given to me by a neighbor nearly 30 years ago. Thanks to Chris for not picking up his vinyl 2 years after they divorced.

Tonight’s vinyl in mono!
It’s in really good shape.
My oldest album, from 1958. Mom worked at RCA and occasionally would bring home a 45. This time, wow, an album.

IMO the best of all post Beatles albums. 4 disc set full of great songs, like the Beatles always did.

Look at the new vinyl Anita bought me for my birthday! I had them, but lost them at some point. I have the CDs, but the vinyl is a better sound. Both are great albums! So glad to hear them like this again.

I walked into my favorite record store with no intentions of buying, just browsing.I found this gem in near perfect condition. I went to play the vinyl a few months ago and I don’t have it. It came out right after I got my first CD player.I have the CD.Love the vinyl depth of sound.

Tonight’s vinyl!
This album was given to me with a collection. I saw a post that referenced John Prine. I asked what song and it’s on this album. First time I’ve played the album. Really good album. I knew all of the songs on side 1. Our favorite local band, Odd Dog, plays Illegal Smile”.

Last night’s vinyl!
Really good prog rock. I hadn’t heard of them, but a friend recommended them. I bought 2 or 3 of their albums last year at a $1 record sale in Santa Fe.
Hope they do that sale again this year.

Love The Turtles and The Stones!
I’m grilling a turkey so lots of time to listen to music. I’ve got my patio Bose speakers cranking.

Great prog rock that no one has ever heard. This is his third album, I have the 2 earlier ones as well.
This album will stay downstairs for a while. Wow! Blows me away.
