I love the 5200 Qix visually, but yeah...not a great experience with that controller. Agreed on Missile Command, though again with my crappy controller having to REALLY MASH that button makes an already tense situation even worse. Pole Position...another one that's sadly a mess.

I really enjoy the versions of Centipede and Defender, I’m sure the former would be awesome with the trak ball…gotta track one of those down I guess. I’m also curious how Robotron 2084 would control with those ridiculous sticks.

I’ve had a morbid fascination with it for years and hearing about it being a failure, and yeah, there’s a LOT you have to put up with (least of all the size), but the games are really good! It’s just the controller renders them almost unplayable.

Bought a boxed 5200 last year with one barely functioning controller; the stick wasn’t the problem, it’s the buttons. Literally got blisters trying to play Joust, other than that had a blast

Yeah that block on Gafford at the rim was ridiculous, he made a nice pass to I think Moody on a cut to the rim, plus he's also been nailing that corner 3 to start the year. Just gotta hope he doesn't have any...outbursts lol

Game of the year so far given the build up, emotions, and what’s at stake with the Cup. Watching Steph go off like that never gets old.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, the Ori games. Guacamelee, Axiom Verge are a few to check out.

And now I’m reminded to finish getting that platinum trophy for Castlevania Requiem lol

Highly recommend Back in My Play if you haven’t listened. Doesn’t update much anymore sadly but they did a fantastic series of Dreamcast episodes.

X2 may be my favorite Mega Man game…but X1 is the one I come back to the most. An iconic, infinitely replayable game from the peak of the 16 bit generation.
