Dow is up close to 1%, NASDAQ down close to 1%. A lot of what you need to know about the bill just passed. Good for banks and old industries, bad for new technologies.

With the parliamentarian stripping out the Alaska/Hawaii SNAP/Medicaid exemption, senate passage likely comes down to Susan “Concerned” Collins. She has a chance for a McCain moment, though I doubt she will use it. Call her out. It is worth a try.

I am shocked to see no discussion of whether Iran has sufficient fissile material for a non-warhead device (or could produce enough with a small number of surviving centrifuges) or the possibility of its transferring enriched uranium to terrorist organizations.

I just tried to check my social security account. The my.ssa ID no longer works. I tried to make a LOGIN.GOV password, but it could not verify my cell #. I tried the ID.ME method, but it failed on my email. I called SSA, they told me I was the 14th caller today with my problem. DOGE: such E! AAArgh!
