Figured you guys might enjoy this item card I made back when I was running a 5e adaptation of Against the Cult of the Reptile God. Might do a form-fillable, printing template for fun.

When we were playing more in person I would print these out. My players went *feral* over loot; which I find fun.

Stats: 1d10 bludgeoning plus 1d4 fire damage; Thrown 20ft / 60 ft. Return: Max of 6 charges, regain 1d6 charges at dinner. Spend a charge as part of a thrown attack to return weapon to your hand after the attack is made. "Good Soup": Once per day, you make food that fortifies your allies. They gain an amount of temporary Hit Points equal to a Cooking (Intelligence) check.

Once you've conceived a full Martin Luther's worth of critique and proposed changes for a game system, you're basically designing a system onto itself. And at that point, you're also likely reinventing an existing wheel.

Not that I condemn that, but I feel many would do well to be cognizant of it.

Spent 5 hours yesterday disassembling the computer to put two new drives in and run cables for future drive upgrades. The classic "I gotta undo that to get to that, but that needs...)

Took the internet's advice to uncheck the Quick Format option, and eventually went to bed. Woke up to this.

Half the time, my cat will greet me at the door, the other half the time he is adorably passed out in one of his spots. Here is a picture of him lounging around and passed TF out.

If you have the means and the space for them, I highly recommend having a pet.

Long ago, I played in a game for a while set in this mash up fantasy world.

We travelled to Krull to beat some encroaching entity called The Darkness, went to Middle Earth to solve a court intrigue murder mystery for the Telcontar dynasty. We set up a castle in the Democratic Republic of Westeros.

Finally got to play the #RootTTRPG! For boring personal reasons I hadn't played until now, despite backing the kickstarter.

I'm playing as a giant fruit bat smuggler named Livingston.

DnD is a reasonable enough choice, as there a lot of online videos to help speed up prep. Main thing is try to keep it simple and keep it short.

One widely used one shot dungeon location I'd recommend (for low level play) is The Delian Tomb by Matt Colville. It is dirt simple and many resources.

Periodically, we take a break from working on our primary #TTRPG project, a Pathfinder 2e module, to work on a fun #CY_BORG side project.

The basic premise is that the lowest tier of rich are entered into a legalized murder lottery, and these rich bastards use it as a way to air out old grievances.
A tabletop roleplaying game handout. It is a fictional digital newspaper front page in the style of early 90's news websites. The newspaper is called "The Daily Download" with the tagline "All the news. None of the Work." The center of front page is filled with an image of Ronald Reagan from 1982, where he sits in front of a waving US flag. The caption for the photo reads "The first cybernetic president (photo taken by Michael Evans, 1982; pre-reactivation). The main article is about a resurrected and cybernetic Ronald Reagan becoming president for a third term. The second article is titled "The Algorithm Behind the Prosperity Lottery", which is the TTRPG scenario's main premise. Essentially a murder lottery for the low level rich to free up hoarded wealth. In the upper left corner of the page are a couple of sections for Business, Cybernetics, Entertainment, Forums, and the Classifieds section. Underneath that are a bunch of ads for conspiracy theories, ad space on the web page, and a mega-church.
