Today is Veterans Day, but it hasn't always been called that. It was originally named Armistice Day in the United States, commemorating the signing of the agreement that ended World War I on November 11, 1918. Pres. Woodrow Wilson celebrated the first Armistice Day in 1919. Almanac.com/Veterans-Day
