Where it needs both scrutiny should be restricted to people with experience in handling the problems.

E.g. if there is a slight acceleration of sea level rise is there a significant risk to Norfolk and may there be a compound panic due to the implications ensuing? Loss of food basket etc.

Yes, I read an article in The Readers Digest around that time claiming that ice ages came on in ten to fifty years. But I was mocked for taking a readers digest article seriously.

South American Governments are rough. I would like to see a world where bombs were seen as murder weapons. They hardly ever kill combatants.
