And remember the 2008 real estate crash? Funding dried up for nearly a decade. Another (at least) will pass if they aren't stopped. FY 2025 funding expires in Sept.on donald's desk..FY 2026 was not yet approved. It is horrrible

And the NIH funding is a serious issue long term. There has been so much progress in Alzheimer's recognition and treatment, if that momentum is lost it will take a decade (at least) to recover. They are close to many breakthroughs...right now.
