Ukraine’s drone campaign continues to expose Russia’s vulnerabilities: more than 20 regions are now scrambling to form new security units with reservists, and the Kremlin is preparing to shut down internet access around military sites to cope with the threat.

Since this morning, Russian air defence has been giving Orel’s residents a front-row seat to yet another ‘spectacular show’ over their own homes.

Overnight, Ukrainian drones struck the Saratov oil refinery — one of Russia’s largest and a key facility owned by Rosneft.
This marks the second attack on the refinery in recent weeks, following a previous strike on November 3.

You feel it in your chest more than you hear it, that mix of anxiety and the dull, mechanical pulse of what’s coming.

These aren’t soldiers, this is innocence being attacked in their beds while they sleep.
