They weren’t homeless hippies FFS. They wore clothes from renowned designer Vivienne Westwood, and fake dread extensions which cost a FORTUNE to get done in the 80s (and still aren’t cheap today.)

Fun Fact: Most of their clothing came from the iconic & groundbreaking designer Dame Vivienne Westwood (they also designed & made their own). Their fake dread extensions were a huge underground fashion trend in early 80s London. It’s an expen$ive hairstyle that has to be cleaned & maintaine.

um, Def Leppard and Ratt WERE popular when I was in high school. Haysi Fantayzee were much more obscure.
