You would never use the old line n the new one is a very long way off. That’s the Narromine/Narrabri gap. There is also a gap delay north of the NSW/QLD border.

I’m wondering what Hitler’s relationship with muslims may have been. Obviously on his aryan “undesirable” list & likely very low numbers in Germany at the time.
