Only nudged up 2lb for a C&D win last time out which looks more than fair – the 2nd and 7th from that race have both won since so form has been nicely boosted. Penultimate win came off 3lb higher than today’s mark.

Took a day off yesterday after a disappointing day on Wednesday, important not to go chasing loses. On a positive note, although all 3 of my Wednesday selections ultimately disappointed, they were all heavily backed in. Getting value is the key to long term results IMO.

Terrible end to the day as the race of my last selection is abandoned due to a sadly fatal injury to Dundory after a furlong or so. Losing punts I can cope with, fatal injuries are a real gut punch. Thoughts with connections 😞
