Made it back to Alaska finally. Pixel really missed me and I think this might be my last week with her. She is getting more senility and frail that it's just not fair to her to let others take care of her and be lonely when I'm not here. It definitely will be one of the hardest things I will ever have to do besides watching Daniel suffer through the last 4 months. I just called to check in with his nurse and get an update. He does have a touch of pneumonia that they are keeping a very close eye on. They also did a test for C-Diff which thankfully was negative. They just can't seem to figure out why his WBC keeps rising. Big thanks to Jan Steves for going to visit him today and keep him company and fill me in with how he did today.

Daniel Lent made it through the night. His vitals are holding up well and he has been more responsive today than yesterday. Just hearing him say my name and I love you gives me hope that he isn't ready to give up yet. Thank you so much to everyone who has reached out since last night. All of the messages and calls have meant the world to me during this difficult time. I'd especially like to thank my parents, Doug Drury and Beverly Drury for all their help and support here in Seattle.

Massive prayers are needed for Daniel Lent right now. He hasn't improved and the doctors and nurses are all very concerned that he is in liver failure. I've made the decision to move him back to ICU for closer monitoring and to do what they can up to putting a breathing tube back in. Dan did express he didn't want to be on a breathing tube long term. My heart is slowly breaking.
