No matter how long or short your time with them is, you wish for another year, month, week... hell, I'd take one extra good day for a finger. We lost our cat just a bit less than two months ago, same story.

It's actually even stupider than that. When the undocumented worker gets injured and goes to the hospital, the hospital will still treat them. The HOSPITAL is the one not getting paid, unless the worker is able to get back to work quickly.
