There was no combat here. No one on the boat posed any direct threat to anyone in the US military, or was at all engaged in combat.

I have a high-deductible employer-based plan, and am covering my family.

Between my contributions and my employers’, the total premium for 2025 is just shy of $29,000.

My family out-of-pocket maximum on that plan is 8,500.

I grew up in Ohio where, much like you describe, there could be a dozen school districts in a county.

NC has long had county-level school districts. There are 100 counties in NC and 115 school districts.
