Travel to the UK via Singapore, Hong Kong or Vancouver obviously a lot more appealing. It will be interesting to see what happens to AirNZ's flagship Auckland - New York flight.

They hanged the German u-boat officers for the exact same thing. Any naval officer would know this which makes the whole thing even more extraordinary. The German captain could legitimately fire his torpedos at the ship because a state of war existed.The US commander had no such justification.

What a monster. We had a case in NZ of a psychiatrist Dr Selwyn Leeks who tortured and abused child patients in an institution in the 1970’s. He was confronted in his nineties but unfortunately never brought to account due to illness.
