No one should be shot for their political views. BUT, the Medal, the flag at half staff, transporting the body and family on Airforce2 seems extreme. These honors should be reserved for those who served the country in extraordinary ways. He could honor his friend attending/speaking at his funeral.

The starvation in Gaza is astounding. I read much about WWII and the Holocaust. This atrocity makes me think of conditions imposed on Jews in ghettos. I can’t understand how a nation founded by people who lost family in concentration camps can allow their government to take this action.
