No, health insurance shouldn’t be tied to your employment. It should be a single payer system ie Universal healthcare. And business and billionaires should be taxed enough to make it work.

I’d say the main reason is about oil. Venezuela being an enemy of the US has always been about getting corporate hands on that oil.

There were also free black men who fought for the colonies… as well as many natives. It’s almost as if history has depths of complexities and doesn’t fit into these generic boxes like krusty gnome or even you are trying to pass off.
