Hahaha yeah, it would need a serious hostage negotiation to get that one done 😆

I agree. Can’t see him staying at Forest forever tbh.

I’m a fan. Think he’s pretty good.

From here and there. Been some links to all from different sources here and there - some dating back some years too.

Mostly probably educated guessing/hope I suppose but can see all four ending up here at some stage 😅

I think the fact he shook hands and pretty much ‘signed’ for Liverpool only for his club to pull the plug on it at last minute means there’s no way he’s not coming here sooner or later.
September 6, 2025 at 3:22 PM
In fact I can even see them making very ruthless and big decisions with the likes of Salah, Alisson and Van Dijk and if they start showing signs of a ‘decline’ they could even look to move them on sooner than planned depending on how the season goes.
September 6, 2025 at 1:09 PM
These summer signings, ruthless decisions in some sales and some very forward thinking figures in charge of the LFC/FSG operation makes me think they are planning big things for a long time and are probably just half way there already.
September 6, 2025 at 1:09 PM
And there’s been talk of an extension of his contract so I don’t think Wharton or similar would hold hands with that and he’s way too big of a transfer to be a Endo replacement but I can sort of see a Mac Allister to Real Madrid thing down the line at some point.
September 6, 2025 at 1:09 PM
Olise fits nicely as Salah’s successor in ‘26 or ‘27, absolutely no doubts about that. A potential release clause next summer might mean LFC has to react and push him through maybe earlier than they ideally have wanted.

I don’t think LFC is in any hurry to let Jones leave…
September 6, 2025 at 1:09 PM
Next two windows really. Rogers is a very versatile forward and attacking midfielder and we heard that profile being thrown around a bit in relations to LFC in the summer and I can see him ticking lot of boxes.
September 6, 2025 at 1:09 PM
The other three are profiles that suit what you imagine the team - I wouldn’t say lacks in but there’s arguably room for in the squad either because there’s not a profile like that or one you feel could be upgraded on. I’m starting to think LFC might go for all three over…
September 6, 2025 at 1:09 PM
All four of these have in some shape or form been mentioned in relations to LFC, remains to be seen if they’d be considered ‘top targets’ or not but absolutely on the list.

Guehi should be here if all had worked out so I imagine he’ll join in July or even more likely January.

There’s just this myth going around of this giant baby CB a Nesta and VVD hybrid that gets everyone excited and the only thing we have to go with are this most definitely AI generated clips!
August 12, 2025 at 9:12 AM
He’s just a myth!
August 11, 2025 at 10:12 PM
If he doesn’t want to be here just get him out but if he’s so desperate to do so he better tell his suitors to pay up.

Don’t think we were in any way ready to give any discounts on them before but after what happened to Jota I bet they’ll be even more set on only ‘selling on our terms/valuation’.
July 7, 2025 at 10:56 PM
But if we’d manage to get Isak we probably ‘streamline’ the forward line a bit and have the flexibility stuff around him.
June 28, 2025 at 7:03 PM
Keeping/selling Diaz changes so much for us. He’s got that positional flexibility that might mean we’d be ok not buying a 9 for the sake of it.

Think we would like a ‘swiss army knife’ of a forward to replace Diaz (regardless of what else we’d do). Someone who does wings and central stuff.
June 28, 2025 at 7:02 PM
Think we are likely to be adding at least one in the attack but the profile might depend on which player/s go.

Like we shouldn’t really need to replace Chiesa as such but probably anyone else there needs some sort of replacing.
June 28, 2025 at 7:00 PM
Nunez/Jota+Chiesa+Elliott barely got 1800 PL minutes combined so the gaps they might leave isn’t massive one but as soon as you let a key player leave there’s likely minutes that will need to be filled up front.
June 28, 2025 at 6:58 PM
It’s probably 50/50 with Diaz imo. Just think we are likely to end up bit too short up front if he’s to leave - even if like Frimpong could do bits there, it would then affect fullback rotation.

Will be interesting to see where Wirtz fits in this in terms of being a midf or a fwd more than other.
June 28, 2025 at 6:56 PM
I don’t think he’d be the last one unless we’d not be able to sell anyone.

Diaz, Nunez, Elliott etc likely to leave so I’d find it hard to believe we wouldn’t be adding at least one.
June 28, 2025 at 6:01 PM
Yeah, surprising it’s not starting to move a bit but then again every striker feels overpriced and everyone wants to keep hold of their’s since the availability of other/better ones isn’t too great.

Yes!
