These are painted for contrast/ presentation, not historical accuracy tbh. I also think there are some white eagles on yellow in Polish heraldry (probably because the Polish coat of arms does not follow the heraldic rules properly, as it is a "crowned white eagle in a red field"

I like to look at the perfected blends but when its overdone and sterile the appeal is lost.
