I’ll be honest, if I could follow in your footsteps and get us out of here financially, I would. Hopefully the tides will start turning now. Every child deserves a quality education and our teachers deserve so much more support from our legislators and communities.

I grew up in a religious Christian cult. My children are agnostic. If someone wants to push religion in schools, there are private schools for that. In my opinion, religion and political theatre have no place in public education. Kids need a diverse, safe, inclusive environment to learn in.

Most of the parents I know w/ kids in public school have been vehemently against his attempts at religious indoctrination in our schools. So many of us had signed waivers opting our kids out of any bs he attempted to establish that infringed on our freedom FROM religion and his delusional maga bs.

We aren’t all red pilled leeches. There’s so many people fighting hard every day to help propel the state in a positive direction. It’s hard work. It’s takes grit, humility, bravery and persistence. He was a substantial roadblock and now we won’t feel so helpless. We need positivity, not pessimism.

Prediction: He’ll siphon every dollar he can from the new job, he’ll eventually leave his wife and we’ll find him shacked up with LOTT or Kirk’s widow.

He’s an opportunist, grifter, thief, propagandist and a liar. We’re glad to see him go. Now hopefully OSDE will actually focus on #OKLAED

As a mom in OK with two kiddos is public education…this news made my year!!!

He’s taking a job as CEO of some org called the Teacher Freedom Alliance. Let him cause chaos there and mismanage their funds like he has ours. We don’t care where he goes as long as it’s far away from our government and our kids.

We are in desperate need of help, but maybe now we can create a positive pathway forward with him being gone. He has been absolutely horrific and detrimental to our state.

If Mark McBride is appointed, the answer is yes. He is a former Oklahoma house legislator and has continuously fought against Walters and his disgusting rhetoric for years. McBride is a conservative, but he is well respected amongst both political parties in Oklahoma, parents and educators.

The rumor is that he’s resigning on Friday. We are crossing all of our fingers and all of our toes at this point. 🤞🏼
