Don’t just say DEI as if it’s a bad word. Spell it out.

Say diversity, which is the lifeblood of American society & culture & innovation.

Say equity, which a just society should pursue.

Say inclusion, because decent people believe in increasing belonging, not isolating people who are different.

Love Susie Dent’s posts. This is fascinating and makes so much sense.
I've always loved the fact that the word 'sneeze' is the result of a historical accident. The original form, in the Middle Ages, was 'fnese', but someone mistook the 'f' for the long medieval 's' and wrote down 'sn-' instead.

Fneezing sounds much more like a proper, nasal sneeze.

Photo of the Day, if not the Year.

Solidarity and admiration.

*Deep breath* So, my first post. Or is it still called a tweet? I was more of an observer on the other site but I’m going to try to be braver with positing here.

So Hi Bluesky world. I’m Sam, a therapeutic social worker working with children, young people and their families.
