I build Holodecks for a living.
"... people like you..."

Where did you get the impression that I think that Elon Musk is great? He is a pox on society.

Besides that, you're absolutely correct, but how does that contradict anything I wrote? Show me what I wrote that you disagree with. Be specific.

Thank you, according to that article, trickle-down economics is a perjorative term for "the notion that spending by this elite group would "trickle down" to those who are less fortunate and lead to economic growth that will eventually benefit the economy as a whole."

That's what I described, no?

Thank you, that's exactly my point. When Elon Musk wants to have a rocket to play with, he pays other people to design and build that rocket. Hence, his wealth "trickles down" to those people, in the form of salaries.

Well, I always thought "trickle-down economics" meant that rich people create jobs for not-rich people. Like creating jobs for rocket scientists, engineers, designers, machinists, welders, electricians, etc.
Can you point me towards the correct definition?

You do understand that those spaceships don't manifest out of thin air, but are in fact built by people, right? People who get paid to do so? Welders, etc?

Now. In fairness. Them building spaceships IS actually money trickling down. It's not a great use of money, but it's still better than them just sitting on their hoards of riches.
