Went back and read our thread from two months ago. We may not have to worry about voting or the best political system. It's obvious the elected officials in Congress have no power. They handed it to Donald Trump on a gold platter. Trump has full power, except for some federal judges. 1/2

Yes. I’ve seen the chaos. When in the middle of a storm we are less likely to find a way out. Democrats are asking for $ to win races. I’ve been a Democrat forever. I think we forgot to listen. We don’t know how to react to this new world order.

We’ve made this mess and we should clean it up. Resistance to change has been around for as long as we’ve been in the planet. Not saying we can’t change but maybe incrementally.

I teach American federal government so yes I know about amendments. However something as drastic as changing how we vote is not likely to pass. One way may be similar to ranked voting. States could push an amendment. In the day I see no possibility.

Got mine today as well. It will be a few days before I can wear it outside. It’s snowing here and it’s about 20 degrees above zero!

(continued) Multiple parties are not the answer. Moving away from winner takes all elections may be a start. Also having men and women with ethucs and government experience would also help.
