If I could talk to my future descendants, I would tell them that even though they carry my trauma on their genes, they also carry my strength and resilience.

I like to tell my clients when they get anxious and start shaking to lean into it. Exaggerate it. It puts you back in control of your body and works out the stress hormones. I hope our society normalizes this and we can say, "I‘m feeling jittery. Can we all just shake out our nerves together?“

The federal programs Trump has halted funding to. If your child receives free or reduced priced breakfast or lunch, they are affected. If you have Medicaid or SNAP benefits, those are also being affected. Meals for older adults too. If you are negatively impacted by this and you voted for him…. 🤷🏼‍♀️

From a book I‘m reading:
"If a stillborn child was a girl, parents were usually thankful. No one needed another worthless mouth to feed.“
Two sentences that highlight how women are responsible for bringing every single life into existence. Yet, our lives are viewed as worthless. We have allowed it.

Elk v. Wilkins, in which the court decided that “because members of Indian tribes owe ‘immediate allegiance’ to their tribes, they are not ‘subject to the jurisdiction’ of the United States and are not constitutionally entitled to Citizenship.”

You know when you drive through parts of the country where there’s Jesus and anti abortion signs and then a porn shop?

That reminds me of the executive branch.
