I've heard britches snake, tallywhacker, and mule used. There were more idiosyncratic ones, but I can't remember them well enough to repeat. 🫏
And among others, I've heard lady garden, sugar bowl, down yonder, front porch and honey pot. My favorite is "her notions." 😅

I was not prone to hear my Opelousas-born grandmother comment on particulars—or anything entering her pocketbook. I have heard both used, though. Each time was just as hilarious. There are a series of old head-isms that will always bring a chuckle.

It helps in those moments when you actually are stuck for ideas. It happens. You go back and poke a stick at the things you haven't used yet. Play Frankenstein a little. Same reason I have a random file just filled with titles with no stories.
