One of my favorite snake photos I've ever taken. This young cottonmouth (venomous) let me photograph it while I was canoeing in the #Okefenokee Swamp of Southeast Georgia. It wanted nothing to do with me and went on its own way. #wildlifephotography

I had a canoe rental pick up this morning from the Suwannee Canal in Okefenokee NWR. One of the things I knew I wanted to offer from the start of my business was mobile canoe and kayak rentals, and I love offering that, because I get to help make memories happen with each trip that takes place!

As a paddling guide in the #Okefenokee Swamp, I came to recognize that many people don't want to, or can't, paddle for 4 hours or more- so I offer 2 hour long paddle tours for those visitors. Even a short trip is a great way to soak in the beauty of this amazing wetland!
