i think so, the vibes of federal way compared to seattle are very different. ie my partner and i feel safer in seattle than over there as a queer person.
but thats just me as a local and a person who lived in WA their entire life. Seattle feels like a bubble.

but im not a guy, im nonbinary, and from my understanding, you have go quite a bit far out to enter a walmart.
what im trying to say is that seattle is pretty ok with lgbt folks but outside the general can be a bit scary.
