Agreed, the episodes with the 1950's flashbacks are definitely the better ones. I feel like they are bridging more of a connection between 2014 and GvK, with Apex and Hollow earth, which is unneeded imo. Would have liked more KoTM foreshadowing but I aint complaining.

Kinda agree. While the start was awesome and grounded, touching on trauma and the aftermath n stuff, it's def facing the 'turning really wild and stupid' problem the later monsterverse movies face. At least it's explaining it and properly setting up a connected universe, even if it's a bit wacky :P

I haven't watched episode 9 yet but I love the show. While Kentaro's character could have been done better imo, I like all the characters and especially the past ones. I also love that they finally touched on the aftermath of 2014 and how it affected people and the world. Hard agree on all that :P
