This is amazing! My next step on the quilting journey is quilting. I even have access to a long arm and no idea how to use it. I struggle with deciding how to quilt, too. I have a baby quilt I need to do. I have uploaded the quilt to chatgpt for ideas. I did get good ones.

Oh dear. Didn't mean to offend and I see nothing wrong with offering how I myself have furnished my own home. Have a good day!

Thrift stores FB marketplace and Buy Nothing groups. If you are patient, things will turn up.
People move and need to get rid of things, sometimes in gently used condition.

It's very cute! If it's useable and you advanced your skills, it was worth it!

Do it! Best way to learn, in person on your own machine where someone can help you.

It is slow going trying to learn on your own. I am going on two years now. I would recommend a local in person sewing class at a community college or sometimes you can find them at a shop, where you learn on your machine. Quilting is very fiddly. But better to learn some skills than doom scrolling.

My aunt passed a year ago. It was family tradition that she made a quilt to mark important life events. My son was up next for hs graduation. I had to learn to carry on the tradition. This is very touching.

Yeah you always need to go by the pattern measurements. Size changes depending on the pattern so knowing ur measurements is key
